Is Music & the Spoken Word closed captioned? How do I access captioning on my TV?
Yes, Music & the Spoken Word is closed captioned. Use your TV’s remote to access “settings” or “menu” to turn captioning on and off. Some remotes have a closed captioning (CC) button. Consult your TV’s user manual for instructions. You can also find the manual on the manufacturer’s website.

Can you send me a copy of the broadcast?
Music & the Spoken Word broadcasts contain copyrighted music and lyrics and therefore are only available to media platforms with the appropriate music licensing.

You can access and copy the texts of recent programs from this website under the heading “Spoken Messages.”

Do I need tickets to attend a Music & the Spoken Word live broadcast or a Choir rehearsal?
No, with three exceptions: the Sunday following the Choir’s annual Christmas concert, and the broadcasts on the first Sundays of April and October are closed to the public.

What are age limits for attendance at live Choir performances?
Admission is limited to those eight years of age and older.

When should I arrive at the Sunday morning performances?
Doors open at 8:25 AM. Guests should be seated by 9:15, when the doors are closed. The broadcast is 30 minutes in length and ends at 10:00 AM. Seating is general seating.

Where can I park to attend Choir performances?
Parking is available in the underground parking at the Conference Center, at no cost. Enter southbound at the intersection of West Temple and North Temple streets.

When does the Choir perform in the Tabernacle, and when in the Conference Center?
The broadcasts are held in the Salt Lake Tabernacle, January – May and September – November. During the months of June – August and December, Music & the Spoken Word moves across the street to the Conference Center to accommodate larger audiences.
